Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely as a long-term consultant, the Senior Software Engineer will participate in the design, development, testing, and support of features for a satellite communications system within an Agile SCRUM team.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and create efficient software designs for satellite systems
- Document, design, develop, test, and integrate software functionality for various components in a collaborative environment
- Troubleshoot technical issues encountered during the deployment of software solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of industry experience in programming and software engineering, with a focus on C++
- Hands-on experience developing multi-threaded and multi-process applications on Linux
- Detailed knowledge of object-oriented design and programming
- Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP) and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) is desired
