Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Designing and developing innovative routing services, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will operate within the Navigation team to solve complex routing scenarios and create customizable solutions for various clients, utilizing Rust and AWS technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and operate significant areas of routing services
- Create best-in-class routing experiences that enhance user enjoyment
- Build tools for unlocking advanced mapping and navigation solutions
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in building large scale/high volume low latency backend services
- 3+ years of experience with Rust/Go based solutions in a commercial or open source environment
- Proficiency in AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM) using infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of operating systems and distributed systems
- Experience with modern AI development tools and practices
