Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the technical direction for the Web Applications Platform team, the remote Senior Software Engineer will oversee shared services, manage the build and deployment path, and collaborate with stakeholders while writing code and configurations as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Set technical direction and own the roadmap for the Web Applications Platform team
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to make architectural choices that impact multiple applications
- Define standards and guardrails for the use of AI coding tools in the engineering process
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience building and operating production software
- Strong skills in Python, Django, and FastAPI
- Expertise in Kubernetes and GitOps delivery (Helm, ArgoCD)
- Experience owning an authentication/authorization system
- Excellent project management skills for breaking down and communicating work in progress
