Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer for a full-time remote position focused on designing and building scalable systems and robust infrastructure to detect and mitigate risk issues across the payments platform.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and maintain a service-oriented technology stack with well-defined APIs for risk management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product features and respond to fraud attacks
- Build and maintain integrations with third-party vendors and payment networks to enhance in-house risk systems
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a backend software engineer in Payments/Fintech
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language (preferably Java, Kotlin, or Python)
- Experience with architectural patterns of large-scale web applications and high-volume data pipelines
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience in fraud detection/mitigation in the payments domain is a plus
