Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of innovative grocery solutions, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will design and operate platforms for real-time product understanding on store shelves, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data pipelines and machine learning models.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate platforms and services for real-time inventory understanding
- Develop data ingestion and processing systems that integrate partner data and machine learning outputs
- Collaborate with engineers and product teams to transition models and data pipelines from research to production
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with large-scale production systems
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala, or Go) and experience with SQL
- Experience with distributed systems, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Proven track record of shipping reliable production software with a focus on testing and maintainability
