Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Providing hands-on technical leadership, the full-time Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead will oversee developers across two teams, ensuring systems architecture, production delivery, and engineering quality while actively engaging in implementation and code reviews in a hybrid remote-eligible environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain high-value production capabilities, particularly in high-risk areas
- Define and maintain systems architecture across projects, including service boundaries and integration patterns
- Provide technical leadership during production incidents and coordinate diagnosis, recovery, and root cause analysis
Required Qualifications
- Typically 10+ years of experience building and operating production software or equivalent demonstrated experience
- Deep expertise in at least one modern programming language, such as C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Python
- Demonstrated experience taking production capabilities from ambiguous requirements through to reliable operation
- Hands-on experience selecting and configuring cloud services and defining infrastructure as code
- Experience leading technical planning, prioritization, and mentoring across multiple developers or teams
