Job Summary
To support a dynamic financial services environment, the remote contract Senior Software Engineer (.NET Full Stack Developer) will design and implement event-driven microservices and APIs using .NET Core and C#, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-value solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement event-driven microservices and APIs using .NET Core and C#
- Build full-stack features leveraging React for the front end and .NET/Azure for backend services
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering growth and best-practice adoption
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development with C#/.NET Core and React
- Expert knowledge of RESTful APIs and event-driven design patterns
- Strong background in Azure services including API Management (APIM) and cloud-native deployments
- Proficiency with Kubernetes and Terraform for container orchestration and infrastructure automation
