Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support a high-growth mission-driven startup, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will take end-to-end responsibility for key features and platform components within a full-stack ecosystem, including Ruby on Rails, React, and Flutter, while working remotely in the USA.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features across the full stack, taking ownership from design through to production deployment
• Translate complex user needs into intuitive, technically sound solutions while operating with high autonomy
• Elevate engineering culture by mentoring teammates and simplifying processes to enhance team efficiency

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of owning features from conception to production
• Deep proficiency in Ruby on Rails and a strong understanding of relational database design and architectural trade-offs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in a remote-first environment
• Experience working in fast-paced startup environments where requirements evolve and ambiguity is common
• Ability to prioritize maintainability and security in software development decisions
