Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To drive complex technical initiatives, the full-time Senior Software Engineer on the Managed Service team will build and own release-defining projects involving distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and database technology, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead complex, cross-functional technical initiatives from conception to deployment
- Drive the team's engineering standards and champion best practices in system design, code quality, and CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior team members and communicate complex technical decisions clearly to various stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience developing and debugging system-level software in languages such as Golang or TypeScript
- Strong understanding of and hands-on experience with distributed systems and cloud services
- Track record of leading non-trivial projects from design through production rollout
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Passion for building high-quality, maintainable products in a fast-paced environment
