Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support a rapidly growing customer base, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain core API services and backend systems using Python, Django, and FastAPI in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain core API services and backend systems while modernizing the application architecture
- Optimize application performance and scalability to accommodate increasing user demand
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to build customer-facing features and define seamless API contracts
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development using Python and frameworks like Django and FastAPI
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices
- Hands-on experience building production single-page applications with Vue and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as MySQL
- Demonstrated fluency with AI-assisted development tools and sound judgment in evaluating generated output
