Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Evaluating the quality of interactions with AI coding agents, the contract Senior Software Engineer will work remotely to assess AI-generated coding outputs and provide feedback on their engineering judgment and usefulness, dedicating 10-20 hours per week through early May.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated coding interactions for usefulness and correctness
- Assess the quality of explanations and reasoning behind AI outputs
- Provide clear and opinionated feedback on the effectiveness of AI interactions
Required qualifications
- Staff or Principal-level engineer or equivalent experience
- Strong background in Python or TypeScript/JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with OpenAI Codex and Claude Code
- Deep familiarity with modern AI-assisted development workflows
- Ability to evaluate code without executing or deeply reviewing every line
