Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To deliver innovative software solutions for educators, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will own complex technical challenges, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the design and development of reliable, scalable software.
Key responsibilities
- Own complex technical problems and features from understanding through implementation and ongoing improvement
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Design, and other stakeholders to translate user needs into effective technical solutions
- Contribute to system and architecture design decisions, balancing maintainability, reliability, scalability, and time to delivery
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Professional experience building and maintaining backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript
- Strong understanding of database technologies, data modeling, and SQL, with experience in relational databases
- Hands-on experience deploying and supporting software in production environments
- 2+ years of professional experience with a modern frontend framework, preferably Angular
