Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the development of next-generation distributed transaction platforms, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and implement scalable systems in a cloud environment while collaborating with Agile teams and driving innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Function as a leader on an Agile team, contributing to software builds, leading code reviews, and ensuring automated testing
• Design and develop high-availability, low-latency subsystems while debugging software components and remediating code defects
• Research and experiment with innovative technologies and solutions to enhance low-latency distributed systems

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent, with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience
• Strong implementation experience with object-oriented languages such as Java, C/C++, or Go, focusing on building performant systems
• Experience in developing and maintaining distributed micro-service applications and familiarity with Service Mesh frameworks
• Proficiency in cloud-native application design and familiarity with platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
• Hands-on experience in building and delivering large-scale enterprise systems, with knowledge of distributed messaging systems and NoSQL databases
