Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To develop foundational software components for advanced medical robotics and surgical technology applications, the contract Senior Software Engineer will work remotely, focusing on research, design, implementation, and maintenance of software components across various clinical architectures.
Key responsibilities
- Develop source code for biomechanics and surgical planning components integrating into clinical application architectures
- Participate in all Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities, including code review, documentation, and testing
- Design, develop, test, debug, and implement operating systems components and software tools
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience with a minimum of 2+ years in software engineering
- Solid background in C++ and Qt within a Linux environment
- Experience with 3D geometry and image processing algorithms involving complex calculations
- Proficiency with integrated development environments (IDEs) and build systems
- Familiarity with unit testing and CI/CD development practices
