Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To develop foundational software components for Enabling Technology applications, the contract Senior Software Engineer will work remotely, focusing on research, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of software components related to clinical application architectures, particularly for Total Hip and Total Knee surgery applications.
Key responsibilities
- Develop source code for shared biomechanics and planning components that integrate into clinical applications
- Participate in SDLC activities, including code review, documentation, integration, testing, and defect management
- Collaborate with geographically distributed engineering teams, ensuring components meet defined requirements and specifications
Required qualifications
- Solid background working with C++ and Qt in a Linux environment
- Experience with 3D geometry and image processing algorithms involving complex calculations
- Proficiency with integrated development environments (IDEs) and build systems
- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 2+ years of professional software engineering experience preferred
