Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and build scalable backend systems and ML pipelines using technologies such as Vertex AI, KServe, and Kafka to enhance search and recommendation capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable ML pipelines for training, evaluation, and deployment to support personalized recommendation systems
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for feature generation and analytics workflows, ensuring high performance and reliability
• Collaborate with data scientists and product managers to define and deliver machine learning-driven features while maintaining documentation and best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in building scalable backend systems and services
• 5+ years of software development experience with strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch, Apache Kafka, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and experience with ML pipelines and observability tools
