Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with quantitative engineers and compliance stakeholders, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will build and maintain compliance surveillance infrastructure, architect large-scale data pipelines, and ensure systems align with regulatory requirements while working onsite in New York City three days a week and remotely two days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software for compliance surveillance and workflow acceleration
• Architect and implement data pipelines and surveillance models for processing large financial datasets
• Document methodologies to ensure compliance with regulatory scrutiny and implement necessary system changes

Required qualifications

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field
• Three years of experience in software development with Python, including production-grade applications
• Experience in a Linux environment, including command-line automation and deployment tasks
• Proficiency with data processing libraries such as Pandas, Polars, and NumPy
• Experience with trade and market surveillance model development and financial data analysis
