Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer in a full-time remote capacity, this role focuses on owning the technical design and implementation of complex FinTech systems, including payments and financial integrations, while collaborating closely with Product and Engineering leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the technical design and implementation of complex FinTech and payment-related systems
- Build and maintain APIs, integrations, services, and data systems while working hands-on in the codebase
- Make architectural decisions and help establish engineering standards and patterns
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong experience building and scaling production payments software
- Deep understanding of backend architecture, APIs, databases, and distributed systems
- Experience working in FinTech, payments, banking, or other transaction-heavy systems
- Strong experience with TypeScript/Node.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and modern cloud infrastructure
