Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack will take ownership of software development tasks, design and maintain full-stack applications, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance government services.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, test, maintain, and improve full-stack applications and services
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, driving system improvements
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing technical guidance and support
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong experience in developing and maintaining production software across frontend and backend technologies
- Expert-level knowledge in at least one technical area, such as application architecture, APIs, or cloud infrastructure
- Experience designing and maintaining modern web applications and services
- Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot complex technical problems
