Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of core libraries and evaluation systems for AI agents, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will work remotely to enhance open-source agent harnesses, diagnose failures, and contribute to upstream improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Define and evolve technical approaches for evaluating and improving open agent harnesses across various frameworks and models
- Build and operate scalable evaluation systems, including CI, sandboxed execution, and analysis tools
- Diagnose agent failures and design controlled experiments to distinguish genuine improvements from noise
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Math, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with technical ownership of production systems
- Expertise in Python and proficiency in Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript
- Experience building or extending LLM agents and evaluation infrastructure
- Solid understanding of asynchronous execution, containers, and distributed compute
