Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To shape the future of customer support systems, the remote Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and own backend services and integrations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance automation for Customer Care Agents.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and own backend services and APIs that support workflows for Customer Care Agents
- Maintain integrations across various internal and external systems, including Salesforce and billing middleware
- Write automated tests and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and system reliability
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience delivering production backend systems at scale
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or another object-oriented programming language
- Familiarity with API lifecycle management, including versioning and documentation
- Strong understanding of query languages, data modeling, and data distribution
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
