Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
As a founding member of the Navigators team, the remote Senior Software Engineer will design and manage API contracts, build a discovery layer for content retrieval, and create continuous delivery pipelines while evolving engineering standards and practices.
Key responsibilities
- Design and own API contracts and versioning for multiple services
- Build search and retrieval mechanisms across a diverse content library
- Create and maintain continuous delivery pipelines for code and infrastructure
Required qualifications
- Substantial experience in building and operating production backend services
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript or a comparably typed language
- Experience designing and testing API contracts in a multi-service environment
- Depth in cloud operations and infrastructure as code, preferably with Terraform on AWS
- Experience in release engineering and maintaining continuous delivery systems
