Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of advanced algorithms for autonomous platforms, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, implement, and integrate software systems while providing technical leadership in a flexible hybrid environment based in Arlington, VA, Woburn, MA, or Dayton, OH.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced algorithms and software systems for uncrewed system autonomy and multi-agent collaboration
- Lead technical efforts throughout the software development lifecycle, from prototyping to integration and testing
- Mentor team members and ensure adherence to industry best practices for software quality and development methodologies
Required qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or a related technical field with 5+ years of experience
- 3+ years of experience in C++ or Java with a focus on backend algorithmic development
- Proven ability to develop and test autonomy algorithms and software
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Gitlab
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship
