Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of advanced algorithms for autonomous platforms, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, implement, integrate, and test software systems while providing technical leadership in a hybrid work environment based in Woburn, MA, Arlington, VA, or Dayton, OH.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced algorithms and software systems for autonomy and control applications
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring throughout the software development lifecycle, from prototypes to integrated systems
- Collaborate with research scientists to transition complex mathematical concepts into software applications
Required qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science or related technical field with 5+ years of experience
- 3+ years of experience with C++ or Java, focusing on backend algorithmic development
- Proven ability to develop, implement, integrate, and test autonomy algorithms and software
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Gitlab
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship
