Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Focusing on vulnerability remediation within existing application code, the remote contract Senior Software Engineer IV will develop, debug, and maintain .NET applications while addressing a significant backlog of identified vulnerabilities using security scanning tools.
Key responsibilities
- Independently manage vulnerability-remediation assignments from the backlog and implement code fixes
- Develop, debug, and maintain .NET applications, performing unit testing and validating remediation changes
- Support CI/CD processes and application deployments, monitoring application pods in OpenShift
Required qualifications
- 7 years of professional experience in software development
- Proficiency in ASP.NET Core, C#, .NET / .NET Framework, Entity Framework, SQL Server, and T-SQL
- Experience with CI/CD processes and Git
- Familiarity with OpenShift or comparable Kubernetes environments
- Strong .NET development and debugging skills
