Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
As a key technical leader and hands-on engineer, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will architect, build, and scale innovative Trading & Custody systems for the Investments Team, collaborating across functions to deliver impactful features in a remote or onsite capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Lead high-impact, cross-functional projects within the Investments space
- Architect, build, and scale brokerage trading and custody systems and processes
- Collaborate with product, operations, and compliance teams to deliver thoughtful features for customers and internal users
Required qualifications
- 5-7+ years of backend experience with a strong sense of ownership and detail
- Domain knowledge of broker-dealer trading and custody systems for individual securities, ETFs, and mutual funds
- Experience with AWS and infrastructure solutions at scale
- Proven track record as a technical lead on complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to articulate technical opinions and assess the impact of architectural decisions over time
