Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Collaborating closely with a team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, implement, and maintain automated security solutions in a remote environment, focusing on cloud security and infrastructure automation to enhance the security posture of College Board's digital products.
Key responsibilities
- Design and operationalize automated preventive and detective guardrails across enterprise cloud environments
- Enhance and automate Unified Vulnerability Management workflows to improve prioritization and remediation processes
- Implement standardized security checks and contribute to documentation and engineering standards for long-term maintainability
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Deep understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its various services
- Experience in establishing software engineering guidelines and performing code reviews
- Working knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, and cloud security principles
- Experience in pair programming or mob programming methodologies is a plus
