Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Joining a growing Battery team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and develop backend services and APIs for residential battery programs while ensuring a strong security posture, all in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and maintain features across the battery solution
- Develop and maintain the client-facing REST API and its backend logic
- Ensure security and data protection policies are in place while collaborating with product and engineering teams
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience with the Java/Spring ecosystem
- Expertise in RESTful web APIs targeting external clients
- Familiarity with relational database fundamentals, particularly PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of modern security best practices and API hardening
