Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance operational maturity within product teams, the full-time Senior Software Engineer specializing in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) will embed with teams to implement reliability practices, conduct game day exercises, and improve observability and performance, with the option to work remotely from the United States or Canada.
Key responsibilities
- Embed with product teams to refine practices around on-call, monitoring, alerting, and run books
- Run regular game day exercises to prepare teams for incident investigation and remediation
- Implement reliability techniques in application code and advocate for meaningful SLOs that reflect customer outcomes
Required qualifications
- Past experience in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps
- Demonstrated ability to influence organizational reliability improvements
- Significant experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience with observability platforms like Grafana or Honeycomb
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and Temporal workflows
