Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance the capabilities of the internal object storage system, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, implement, and extend services critical to NVIDIA's AI/ML research teams, working remotely or onsite in various locations.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, and testing of the object storage system
- Develop storage capabilities to support research teams and improve deployment reliability at scale
- Automate storage infrastructure end-to-end, including provisioning, management, and monitoring
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of relevant experience in developing object storage services
- Prior experience with distributed systems using Python, Go, C/C++, or similar languages
- Demonstrated ownership of product delivery from inception to support
- Strong understanding of data availability, durability, and fault tolerance strategies
