Job Summary
Leading the design and development of secure, low latency tactical software, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will focus on the Army's Counter UAS Network Communication System, integrating various systems while working remotely or onsite in Alexandria, VA or Huntsville, AL.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead software architecture modifications and evolution for C UAS tactical software baselines
- Develop and demonstrate rapid prototypes for government evaluation
- Implement secure communications solutions for tactical data transmission
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred; Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of relevant experience required
- Senior level development expertise in C, C++, Python, or Java for tactical/embedded systems
- Current Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
- Proven leadership experience in prototype development and iterative build test cycles
- Hands-on experience with secure communications, encryption, and access control
