Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer in Automation Engineering, this remote position will design and build AI-enabled automation systems and production-grade software to enhance NBCUniversal's data collaboration ecosystem.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and build internal AI agents and automation workflows using frameworks like Snowflake Cortex and LangChain
- Develop reusable tools, APIs, and components for new agentic workflows while implementing evaluation harnesses and monitoring patterns for AI-agent behavior
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and maintain production-grade Python applications
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in building production-grade software using Python, including libraries, services, and CI/CD
- Hands-on experience with AI applications, LLMs, and frameworks like LangChain or similar tools
- Experience designing AI-enabled workflows and automation systems
- 3+ years of experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks
