Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Driving technical excellence in backend microservices, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will lead design and implementation efforts for order processing systems, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product managers from ideation to release.
Key responsibilities
- Lead design and technical implementation decisions to ensure high standards in order processing capabilities
- Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering best practices including AI tooling
- Collaborate with Product Managers to gather requirements and support software throughout its lifecycle
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of software development experience, particularly in secure, scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Strong experience with event-driven architecture and message processing using Apache Kafka
- Experience mentoring engineers and promoting technical best practices
- Proficiency in building and maintaining software within the AWS ecosystem
- Extensive knowledge of Test-Driven Development and/or Domain-Driven Development
