Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance web applications and data pipelines in the healthcare sector, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer II will develop scalable solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior engineers while focusing on risk minimization and high-quality code practices.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement scalable and performant solutions
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to execute technical roadmaps using Agile processes
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, providing thorough pull request reviews and receiving feedback on personal work
Required qualifications:
- BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience building full-stack web applications in a cross-functional team
- 3+ years of experience with SQL or other database querying languages on large multi-table data sets
- 3+ years of experience as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting
- 3+ years of experience coaching other engineers
