Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer to join the remote WebApp team, responsible for building and maintaining scalable web application features, providing technical leadership, and ensuring engineering excellence while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain full stack web application features, including scalable, distributed microservices
- Own complex features from technical design to production deployment, adhering to high-performance and reliability standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and set high engineering standards while participating in on-call rotations and troubleshooting production incidents
Required qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in software development
- Experience building and maintaining highly available, scalable web applications
- Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks commonly used in full-stack development on distributed systems (e.g., React, Python, Go, Kafka, SQL, NoSQL)
- Strong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming, and design patterns
- BSc in a STEM field, preferably in computer science or software engineering
