Job Summary
Driving technology forward, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for a Virtual Power Plant platform, ensuring seamless data access while championing a full service ownership culture in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services and robust APIs for the VPP platform
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using modern Infrastructure as Code practices
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable code delivery to production environments
Required qualifications
- BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with production-grade systems
- Strong proficiency in Python or similar object-oriented programming languages
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and building CI/CD pipelines using Infrastructure as Code
- Solid working knowledge of various SQL and NoSQL databases
