Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support federal programs, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and configure software systems, focusing on building RESTful APIs and collaborating with Business Analysts to enhance system functionality.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop software components in alignment with technical specifications and project requirements
- Build Java/Scala-based RESTful APIs to meet functional requirements and ensure scalable performance
- Troubleshoot defects and operational issues across development, staging, and production environments
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade software development using Java and JavaScript
- Practical knowledge of designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with Scala in a backend development context
- Experience using Splunk for log analysis and performance troubleshooting
