Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely as a long-term consultant, the Senior Software Engineer will participate in the design, development, testing, and support of features for a satellite communications system within an Agile SCRUM team.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and create efficient software designs for satellite systems
- Document, design, develop, test, and integrate software functionality for various components
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during software deployment
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electronics and communication engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of hands-on C/C++ software development experience on embedded ARM/Linux or X86 platforms
- Experience developing real-time signal-processing algorithms on programmable DSP processors
- Strong programming experience with Vector C/C++, including optimization of DSP algorithms
- Familiarity with 5G NR/5G NTN MAC and PHY-MAC interactions
