Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To optimize existing systems and architect a next-generation platform, the remote Senior Software Engineer will design and build backend services and APIs for identity resolution, manage event-driven pipelines, and ensure reliability and scalability across services and data pipelines.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build backend services and APIs for identity resolution and platform integrations
- Optimize event-driven pipelines processing billions of signals
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams to deliver identity solutions and mentor junior engineers
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend and/or data engineering at enterprise scale
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala, with expertise in API design and distributed systems
- Experience with Kafka, streaming frameworks (Spark/Hive/Flink), and schedulers (Airflow/Luigi)
- Proficiency with Kubernetes (EKS) and AWS cloud deployment practices
- Knowledge of SQL and high-throughput NoSQL/columnar databases (Aerospike, Snowflake, Scylla, etc.)
