Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning large components of the correlation and alerting engine, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will design solutions for high-fidelity alerts, ensure the reliability of the alerting pipeline, and mentor team members while tackling independent projects that enhance product capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and own solutions for evaluating rule-based thresholds and anomaly detection to produce high-fidelity alerts
• Ensure the reliability of the alerting pipeline, managing components from evaluation to downstream notification
• Contribute to generating alert definitions from normalized data models and help resolve production issues

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with high-reliability alerting or notification systems, including rule-based and ML-based detection logic
• Strong expertise in Kafka for producing and consuming event streams
• Proficiency in telemetry and protocol data, with the ability to create network and system topologies
• Mastery of Go and/or Python, with experience in container orchestration and multi-cloud environments
• Proven track record of owning large components or systems end to end and coordinating with engineering teams
