Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Owning large components of the correlation and alerting engine, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will design solutions for high-fidelity alert evaluation, ensure the reliability of the alerting pipeline, and mentor team members while contributing to independent projects that enhance product capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement solutions for rule-based thresholds and ML anomaly detection to produce reliable alerts
- Ensure the reliability of the alerting pipeline, including OpenSearch alert evaluation and Kafka delivery
- Resolve production issues and lead post-mortems, driving long-term fixes and improvements
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with high-reliability alerting or notification systems in production
- Strong knowledge of Kafka for event stream production and consumption
- Proficiency in handling telemetry and protocol data for network and system topologies
- Mastery of Go and/or Python, with experience in container orchestration and multi-cloud environments
- Proven track record of owning large components or systems end to end
