Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Joining the Employee Benefits team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will develop and maintain web applications and microservices using Golang and React while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support delivery through code reviews and guidance on complex technical problem solving
- Champion engineering best practices in coding, testing, and documentation
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of web development experience with React and 5+ years in building web applications and services
- Proficiency in Golang, C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, and experience with Kubernetes and PostgreSQL/SQL Server
- Understanding of Agile frameworks, ideally Scrum, and tools like Jira and Confluence
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or CIS, or equivalent work experience
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and automated testing frameworks such as Cypress and RestSharp
