Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing data platform for blockchain and cryptocurrency, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will enhance Java services for data ingestion, optimize PostgreSQL strategies, and contribute to scalable API services while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own and improve the data ingest Java service for enriched transfers generation and aggregations
- Design and tune PostgreSQL transaction batching, indexing, and replication strategies
- Build and maintain scalable API services on AWS that handle thousands of requests per second
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with PostgreSQL in production, including schema design and performance tuning
- 8+ years of building Java Spring Boot services, including REST APIs and JVM performance profiling
- Experience with Kafka or equivalent streaming systems
- Track record operating distributed systems on AWS, including microservices and multi-silo deployments
- Strong cross-system debugging skills and comfort with AI-assisted development practices
