Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing data platform for blockchain and cryptocurrency, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will enhance data ingest services, design PostgreSQL strategies, and build scalable API services on AWS while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Own and improve the data ingest Java service for enriched transfers and aggregations
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL transaction batching, indexing, and replication strategies
- Build and maintain scalable API services on AWS that manage high request volumes
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with PostgreSQL in production, including schema design and performance tuning
- 8+ years of experience building Java Spring Boot services, including REST APIs and connection pooling
- Experience with Kafka or equivalent streaming systems
- Proven track record of operating distributed systems on AWS, including microservices and Terraform
- Strong debugging skills across systems, tracing issues from metrics to code paths
