Job Summary

To support the development of AI-native systems, the remote Senior Software Engineer, AI will design and build core components of an agent platform, focusing on backend architecture and integration while collaborating with a small, autonomous team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and own core components of the agent platform, including orchestration and tool integrations
• Architect the knowledge and memory infrastructure for agent data retrieval and operational execution
• Partner with Operations to identify automation opportunities and translate workflows into agent capabilities

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of backend systems engineering experience
• Experience with AI/LLM agent platform development
• Proficient in API design and system integration
• Demonstrated product thinking and ownership of projects
• Strong fundamentals in backend engineering
