Senior Software Engineer - AI

Job Summary

To enhance the Triton compiler and runtime for AMD CDNA and next-generation GPU architectures, the full-time Senior Software Engineer - AI will design and develop distributed execution and communication capabilities for large-scale AI workloads, collaborating across compiler, runtime, and hardware layers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement native distributed communication and execution capabilities within the Triton AMDGPU backend
• Drive performance optimization across compute and communication, including inter-GPU data movement and memory hierarchy utilization
• Collaborate with GPU architecture and performance teams to co-design next-generation distributed GPU programming capabilities

Required Qualifications

• Deep expertise in GPU architecture, compiler technologies, and distributed GPU systems
• Experience with GPU programming using Triton, HIP, CUDA, or similar environments
• Strong knowledge of modern GPU architectures and their performance characteristics
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience optimizing large-scale AI, machine learning, or HPC workloads across multi-GPU systems
