Senior Software Engineer - AI Systems

Job Summary

To ensure the quality of speech and audio models, the full-time Senior Software Engineer - AI Systems will define evaluation methodologies, build automated evaluation pipelines, and create monitoring systems for production models in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and build evaluation methodologies for various AI models, including speech-to-text and text-to-speech
• Design and maintain automated evaluation pipelines focusing on correctness and reproducibility
• Build and operate continuous monitoring systems to detect quality regressions in production

Required qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Applied Math, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional software or QA engineering experience with a focus on test infrastructure or evaluation systems
• Strong backend/scripting experience in languages such as Python, Rust, or Go
• Experience designing and building automated test pipelines or evaluation frameworks
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to reason about metrics and statistical variation
