Senior Software Engineer Contractor

Job Summary

Owning and evolving the enterprise platform end-to-end, the remote Senior Software Engineer Contractor will manage both sustaining engineering and new feature development, starting with the Coaching application and potentially shifting to other areas as priorities change.

Key responsibilities

• Independently scope and deliver medium-to-large projects, breaking down ambiguous problems into well-sized workstreams
• Partner closely with Product and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical plans and keep cross-functional partners informed
• Support reliability and incident response, providing on-call support during U.S. working hours to maintain platform health

Required qualifications

• Senior-level software engineering experience with a track record of owning systems or products end-to-end in a production environment
• Strong full-stack experience in TypeScript, balancing sustaining engineering and new feature development
• Experience building and supporting B2B/enterprise-facing software
• Proven ability to work independently on medium-to-large projects from problem definition to solution delivery
• Experience with on-call rotations and incident response
