Senior Software Engineer, Data Engineering

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Software Engineer, Data Engineering will design, build, and maintain data products for healthcare billing and customer experience, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality data pipelines that support operational decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data products for the Customer Experience and Billing domains from initial design through deployment
• Develop integrated data pipelines and models across various healthcare domains to enable a comprehensive 360 view
• Implement best practices for data quality, security, and compliance while driving rapid prototyping efforts for new data solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or engineering, with healthcare or biotech data experience preferred
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, including designing and maintaining data pipelines and cloud data architectures
• Deep understanding of healthcare data domains, including Patient, Provider, Payer, and Billing processes
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and distributed processing frameworks like Spark
• Experience with modern orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt) and implementing CI/CD for data pipelines
