Senior Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure

Job Summary

To support a growing data infrastructure team, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure will design and maintain high-performance databases, optimize data pipelines, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance data workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain petabyte-scale databases and data models for real-time investigations and analytics
• Build and optimize production data pipelines for large-scale blockchain datasets
• Diagnose and tune complex SQL queries while collaborating with product and research teams

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics infrastructure with RDBMS expertise
• Proven experience with Postgres, MySQL, or SQL Server at production scale
• Strong command of SQL for debugging, explaining, and optimizing queries
• Experience designing data models for analytical or operational use cases
• Familiarity with data pipeline frameworks like Airflow or DBT
